“As long as I can remember, I have always been interested in art, and I have always been surrounded by art.”
Kristin comes from a family of artists and has been making art all her life. She says she is inspired by photographs as well as: “Experiences, events, feelings, moods, and memories.” She primarily draws things that: “Interest me, or that I respect and want to honor.” Kristin’s favorite art form is portraiture. She produced her first self portraits at Art Explorers. Lately, she has been inspired by fairy tales and myths and works in a very realistic style. In addition to her artwork, she loves children and has a job at the local elementary school.
