“Just doing art at Art Explorers makes me feel better.”
Mike has deeply loved nature since childhood. He loves drawing and painting landscapes and enjoys spending time outdoors. Mike says: “I love the ocean and I love going to look at it a lot and I usually go to Glass Beach.” Much of his work is inspired by the visits he’s made to Alaska and Hawaii. He especially loves mountains, waterfalls, seascapes, and volcanoes. Mike has been painting with Art Explorers for close to 20 years. Mike recently moved to his own home, surrounded by planters full of beautiful flowers. Lately, his work has included plants and flowers. He is a delightful, gentle man who is totally self-directed in his artwork.
