Amanda is a mixed media artist who likes to divide her time in the studio between two artworks - for example, making beaded earrings (some as long as 3 feet!) and producing representational paintings on canvas panels with acrylic. She is a mixed media artist with a contemporary approach to the materials she uses, producing images that incorporate stenciled text and images; paper cut-outs and decorative paper edge patterns. Her themes include flowers and outdoor garden scenes with people, fountains and dogs; beaming lighthouses and hot air balloons in flight.
