Working mainly from his imagination and with stencils, many of Mike's drawings reflect his great sense of humor – combining his love for the outdoors, interest in abstract patterns, and fascination with UFOs and BigFoot. Memories of trips he has made to Alaska, Scotland and Hawaii are populated with extraterrestrials and astronauts, and sasquatch sightings abound in holiday scenes from Christmas to Thanksgiving.
