Vink enjoys creating abstract, geometric patterns using colored pencil on paper – primarily with colored pencils but also with paint. He is process-oriented, creating patterns on the spot as opposed to planning them in advance. Although Vink's drawings generally do not refer to representational things, he does think that sometimes lean toward looking like spider webs and hour glasses. He is also excited about exploring new mediums, especially ceramics.
